The University of Wisconsin-Madison chapter of FIMRC is rather young, only being founded in 2011. The Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children at UW-Madison strives to promote awareness in the community regarding the impoverished state of pediatric and maternal health in the developing world. FIMRC members dedicate their time to improving health care throughout the world. Furthermore, FIRMC at UW-Madison will hold fundraisers to benefit pediatric and maternal health care in developing countries.
FIMRC is also a student organization that promotes community amongst our members. We always try to dedicate the time and effort to get to know our members on a more personal level, and we participate in fun fundraising, volunteering, and social opportunities. There are many exciting options that fall into these three pillars of FIMRC. Please visit our main homepage for more information about upcoming events.
